The World Food Forum is a global youth platform to transform agrifood systems through the power of youth, science, innovation and investment. Hosted by the United Nations Food and Agriculture Organization, this year's event was held October 10 - 17th in Rome, Italy.
Alaina Gebel, junior in Global Resource Systems and Agriculture and Life Sciences Education and president of the ISU chapter of the International Association of Students in Agriculture and Related Sciences (IAAS), represented the U.S. in an IAAS delegation at the Forum.
Youth from around the world are invited to join high-level dialogues, innovation labs, interactive pitching events, hackathons, networking, exhibitions and cultural showcases to spotlight the many ways people everywhere are shaping a better future.
