Nearly 300 students and 80 educators visited Iowa State's campus on Monday, April 29, as part of the World Food Prize Iowa Youth Institute. Students in grades 8 to 12 presented their research on a topic related to global food security and its impact on a specified country. The students also competed for scholarships and the opportunity to present their research at the Global Youth Institute. This year, nearly every one of the 37 round table discussions included an Iowa State faculty, staff, student or alumni serving as experts and moderators.
