On April 3, 2024, the CALS Office for Global Engagement hosted nine Humphrey Fellows in collaboration with Kirkwood Community College. The scholars toured the Seed Science Center, Center for Crops Utilization Research, and Center for Sustainable Rural Livelihoods.
The Humphrey Fellowship Program is a Fulbright Exchange Program funded by the Department of State and administered through the Institute of International Education. The program provides leadership and professional development opportunities for international professionals. Fellows are partnered with faculty on US campuses to complete academic study and professional development with US counterparts.
