2024 marks the 20th Anniversary of the Center for Sustainable Rural Livelihoods (CSRL). As part of the year-long celebration, the feature film, "Sustainable Rural Livelihoods: 20 Years of the Iowa State University – Uganda Program" was commissioned to tell the CSRL origin story and commemorate that past 20 years in Uganda. The film was produced and directed by Ugandan documentary photographer, Esther Mbabazi, to capture the challenges CSRL has faced and illustrate how sustainable rural livelihoods are becoming a reality in Kamuli, Uganda.
