In January 2024, Chitale Dairy and Iowa State University collaborated on an international learning experience for CALS students in India. Students participated in a mini-internship for 10 days in Bhilwadi, India and visited a milk processing plant, veterinary diagnostic lab, and agricultural extension program in addition to learning about dairy cattle and water buffalo. This inaugural program was developed by Dr. Curtis Youngs and the Chitale family with the goal of sending more students for longer internships in the future.
The Chitale family also recently visited campus to discuss further partnerships and opportunities for collaboration between Iowa State University and Chitale Dairy. Learn more about the program with the video below.
